MIHS to run MD, MS classes from next month

JANAKPURDHAM: The Madhes Institute of Health Sciences (MIHS) has made preparation to run MD and MS classes from next month.

With the transfer of the ownership of the provincial hospital to Janakpurdham, the way for MIHS to run the MD and MS classes has been opened.

Vice-Chancellor of MIHS, Prof Dr Ram Kebal Saha, said preparation is underway to run the MD and MS classes from next month.

He further said that almost all the preparations have been made and admission for MD MS classes would be run with the beginning of new session.

Saha mentioned that it has become easier to run MD MS classes after provincial hospital ownership was handed over to the MIHS. MIHS has been running classes of BSc Nursing, BPH, BMLT and BNS within two years of its establishment.

He opined that preparation is underway to run MD MS classes in six subjects—medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics and radiology.
