Manang sells Yarsagumba worth Rs 235 million



MANANG: Yarsagumba worth at least Rs 235 million rupees has been sold from Himalayan district Manang.

Yarsagumba is collected and sold to traders by outsiders and locals in the district.

In the fiscal year 078/79, traders in Manang submit revenue of Rs 30 thousand to the government per kilo of Yarsagumba.

Collectors sell quality Yarsagumba to traders for Rs 25 lakh to 30 lakh.
