Price of petroleum products hiked again

Petrol to cost Rs 181 per liter, diesel and kerosene Rs 172 per liter

KATHMANDU: The government has increased the prices of diesel, petrol, and kerosene from tonight.

A meeting of Board of Directors of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) chaired by Commerce Secretary Dr. Ganesh Prasad Pandey decided to this effect.

With this price hike, a liter of petrol will cost Rs 181 and the price of diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 172 per liter. Price of petrol has been hiked by Rs 2 per liter whereas the diesel and kerosene has been hiked by Rs 9 per liter.

NOC Spokesperson Binit Mani Upadhyaya said the meeting of NOC board of directors has decided to increase the price with effect from Monday night.
