Rupandehi police nabs three Indians carrying weapons



RUPANDEHI: Police have arrested three Indian nationals with pistols in Rupandehi.

A police team deployed from Area Police Office, Lumbini, Rupandehi, arrested three persons armed with guns on a motorcycle (UP 55 AD 0648) on Sunday evening.

According to SP Rabindra Regmi, the police arrested Medik Hussain, 34, alias Chinak, Siddharthnagar, India, Akbar Khan, 51, and Asik Ali, 55, from Lumbini Cultural Municipality-6 Bus Park.

A sharp-edged pistol, two rounds of KF-9mm ammunition, and a knife were found in a black plastic bag from Hussein’s right waist.

SP Regmi informed that in an attempt to skip police, the arrested had bumped against an ox at Lumbini Bus Park.

All three were injured in the accident and are undergoing treatment at Bhairahawa Medical College Police say they are investigating further connections.
