Home Minster Khand calls on Maoist Center Chair Prachanda



KATHMANDU: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has held a meeting with CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Saturday.

At the meeting held at Prachanda’s residence at Khumaltar in Lalitpur this morning, the two leaders discussed contemporary politics, budget presented for the next fiscal and various government-prepared bills that are in the process of being submitted to the parliament.

The leaders also reviewed local level elections and exchanged views on the continuation of the alliance of the ruling parties.

The Home Minister also apprised the ruling coalition leader about government’s preparation of tabling the Citizenship Bill in the ongoing session of the House of Representatives.
