Charming, yet “defiant” Miruna in photos

KATHMANDU: Miruna Magar, who had been living in London, had a keen interest to act in films.

Her mother was a theater artist. Miruna, who came to Nepal from London in 2016, gradually learned acting.

Learning to act in a studio, Miruna first got an opportunity to work in drama, ‘Katha Desh 3’.

Then she switched on to films.

She appeared in films like Lalpurja, Rose, Saino, and Cha Cha Hui, among others.

However, she could not gain the wide attention of the audience.

In fact, she could not make a place in the field despite working with established actors like Saugat Malla, Bipin Karki, Aryan Sigdel and Pradip Khadka.

However, her latest film ‘Kabaddi 4, which has been recently released made a record on the first day of its release.

In the film, Miruna has played the role of a teacher named Shanti. She presents herself as a young woman from a quiet and simple village.

However, her action (slapping a young monk) courted a controversy soon after the release of her film.
