KATHMANDU: Sanskriti International School, in partnership with the International Curriculum Association (ICA), is delivering a Symposium on “Improving Learning” on May 7 and 8 at the Aloft Kathmandu Thamel – Marriott.

This event is part of a series of professional learning opportunities by Fieldwork Education UK leading up to the International Curriculum Conference to be held in October 2022, a statement issued by the school said.

The event encompasses kindergarten, primary and lower secondary education sectors and is suitable for educators, administrators, investors, and those in all these sectors interested in understanding more about the International Curriculum – International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), the statement said.

Diptee Acharya, Founder/Director of Sanskriti International School said, “In recent years, the curriculum offered by Fieldwork Education, UK, has been adopted by various schools in Nepal due to its comprehensive, thematic, and creative curriculum.”

She added, “Allowing us to blend the International and local National curriculum, the educational program helps schools deliver a broader, international, and more rigorous all-round learning experience.”

Ranjit Acharya, Chairman of Sanskriti International School said, “The workshops will focus on classroom practices sharing the practical experience of teachers who are working with the International Curriculum.”

During the two days, participant teachers will have the opportunity to meet with colleagues from a range of schools as well as from the International Curriculum Association and to engage in discussion and collaboration focused on the theme of Improving Learning.
