Two Indian nationals held with narcotics



PARASI: Two Indian nationals have been arrested from Pratappur Rural Municipality-5 in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta West) for allegedly possessing banned drugs, according to Nepal Police.

The arrested ones are Volu Chauhan, 20, of Maharajgunj, and Rakesh Sahani, 19, from Gorakhpur, India.

Information Officer of District Police Office, Parasi, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Prem Bahadur Shahi said the two were held last night from Bedauli along the Nepal-India bordering area. Police recovered 175 ampoules of each Diazepam, Phenergan and Nufen.

Police said that investigations have been initiated against the alleged ones as per the Narcotic Drugs Control Act 2033 BS.
