Four-year-term of 20 NA lawmakers expiring today



KATHMANDU: The four-year term of twenty lawmakers of the National Assembly (NA) which had been fixed through lottery is expiring from today.

Those whose term is expiring today are UML lawmakers Bantawa Rai, Kabita Bogati, Komal Oli, Chakra Prasad Snehi, Nainkala Ojha, Parshuram Meghi Gurung, Ramlakhan Chamar and Sumanraj Pyakurel.

Similarly, the term of Nepali Congress lawmakers Drignarayan Pandey, Tara Devi Bhatta, Radheshyam Adhikari is also expiring today.

Likewise, those lawmakers whose term is expiring include Khim Kumar BK, Jeevan Budha, Deena Nath Sharma and Shashikala Dahal of the CPN (Maoist Center), Udaya Sharma Paudel, Thagendra Prakash Puri, Shanti Kumari Adhikari GC and Sher Bahadur Kunwar of CPN (Unified Socialist).

Nominated lawmaker Ram Narayan Bidari’s term is also expiring today.

The four-year term of the lawmakers expiring today had been determined through lottery on June 18, 2018.
