Three arrested for tampering with online form of Passports Department

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested three persons on the charge of tampering with the online form of the Department of Passports.

The arrested have been identified as Dinesh Tamang, 35, of Sindhupalchok, Navin Kumar Shrestha, 40, of Lamjung and Yam Bahadur Thapa Magar, 36, Surkhet.

A police team deployed from Metropolitan Police Circle, Kalimati, arrested them from outside the Department of Passports in Tripureshwar.

Police have also recovered a computer, laptop and printer from them along with Rs 40,000 in cash and 50 tampered documents.
