Nepal sees 393 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley sees 222 cases in 24 hours



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 393 new cases of coronavirus while 263 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 355 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 38 from the antigen method.

Likewise, there are 156 cases in Kathmandu, 21 in Bhaktapur and 45 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the valley to 222 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were three coronavirus-related death in the past 24 hours. With this, the COVID-19 death toll has reached 11,601 in the country.

There are 5,094 active cases of coronavirus in Nepal as of Tuesday.
