Home Minister Khand criticizes UML-led three party alliance

BHAIRAHAWA: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has said that the three-party alliance of the CPN (UML), Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) was regressive and it cannot run the country as well.

Minister Khand was of the view that ideologically differing and anti-republican forces’ alliance would take the country to regressive path.

Addressing an election programme in Bhairahawa on Thursday, Nepali Congress leader Khand, who is also the candidate of the ruling alliance in Rupandehi Constituency No. 3, said the current ruling alliance was formed to take the country towards progressive path while safeguarding the country’s nationality.

Khand recalled that the people’s movements 2046 BS and 2062/063 BS remained successful because of Nepali Congress and left parties’ partnership and added that those suppressing the people during those time are in the people’s memory.

Likewise, the Home Minister viewed the five-party alliance was needed to transform the people’s livelihood and make people happy by creating employment opportunity and bringing positive changes on their status.

Also speaking at the event, candidate of Rupandehi Constituency No. 3 (a) of ruling alliance Santosh Kumar Pandey claimed that the ruling alliance has the vision and capacity to create job opportunities and make the youths self-reliant.
