KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and Chairman of Nepal Samajwadi Party Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has announced that he will not contest in the upcoming elections.

Sharing his decision through the social media on Monday afternoon, Dr. Bhattarai announced that he will not be a candidate in the upcoming elections.

“I would like to inform everyone that I will not be a candidate in the upcoming November 20 elections for,” he said.

Dr. Bhattarai expressed his gratitude to Gorkhali people for electing him from Gorkha in the past election.
