Country needs me as Prime Minister: Senior NC leader Poudel

KATHMANDU: Senior leader of Nepali Congress (NC) Ram Chandra Poudel has said that the country needed him in the role of Prime Minister.

Inaugurating the 36th anniversary of Adikavi Bhanubhakta Campus at Bhadgaun of Byas Municipality-1 in Tanahu district on Saturday, senior leader Poudel said that the country’s current situation needed his involvement in prime ministerial role for social justice, security and good governance.

He said, “I joined politics for good governance, social justice and socialism in the country. I am yet to execute these ideals.” He added that since he could not give good governance to the whole country at once, he would lay the foundation of good governance.

“I am active in politics to provide my executive role to the country and I also have a vision of how we can achieve progress in the future. I am capable to lead the country by assuming an executive role,” he said.
