Ruling coalition agrees to hold elections on November 20

KATHMANDU: The top leaders of the five-party ruling coalition have agreed to hold provincial and federal elections on November 20.

According to sources, the election will be announced at the cabinet meeting tomorrow (Thursday).

Earlier, the Election Commission had suggested holding the election on November 18, but Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba had been mulling over holding it on November 4.
