Passengers disembarked after report of “terrorist onboard” NA plane



KATHMANDU: All passengers on an aircraft of Nepal Airlines were disembarked and checked at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) after receiving “information” about the presence of terrorists on the plane.

It was reported that terrorists were inside the aircraft which was about to fly to Mumbai with 141 passengers from TIA on Wednesday afternoon.

The Central Investigation Bureau of the police has launched an investigation after the Kailali police sent information about the terrorist presence in the plane.

NA narrow body plane was supposed to fly for Mumbai at 1.10 pm.

Two suspects have been arrested from the plane.
