Dahal urges local representatives from party to keep people first



KATHMANDU: Chairman of Maoist Center, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has advised the local people’s representatives to keep the people first while carrying out their duties.

During his meeting with newly elected people’s representatives who won the elections from the party in Sudurpaschim, Lumbini and Karnali Provinces at his private residence Khumaltar today, the party chair advised the team to “establish the notion that Maoist is for serving the people and the party is with them during good and hard times.”

He urged them to keep in mind people’s needs and interest while undertaking development endeavors at the local level.

It may be noted that the party had invited the mayors and deputy mayors representing the party from across the country for an orientation and advised the same.
