Who made ‘PM offer’ to Unified Socialist Chair Nepal?

KATHMANDU: One month after the chairman of the main opposition CPN KP Oli said, “If I want, I will break the ruling coalition in a week”, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Nepal reacted that immediate left unity is impossible.

Speaking at a press meet in Surkhet on Thursday, Chairman Nepal said that there was only a rumor about coordination between the Unified Socialist, the CPN-UML, and the CPN (Maoist Center).

Nepal said that there was no possibility of left unity or electoral coordination with UML at present.

“The arrogant conspirators are spreading all kinds of illusions to break the present ruling coalition,” commented Nepal.

“We will not allow the alliance to break at least a few months until the election to the House of Representatives,” said Nepal. “We have no ambition for any kind of post.”
