More than 4.5 million take PAN in Nepal



KATHMANDU: The number of taxpayers obtaining a permanent account number (PAN) in Nepal has exceeded 4.5 million.

According to the Ministry of Finance, a total of 4,674,202 people have taken permanent account number till mid-April 2078 BS.

So far, 1,753,642 people have got a professional permanent account number, 2,904,771 people have got personal permanent account number and 15,789 people have got permanent account number for advance tax deduction purposes.
