Local election, the decisive front against regression: Prachanda

BARDIBAS: Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has urged all to regard the upcoming local election as a decisive front to sideline the regressive forces in the country.

Speaking at a program organized in Bardibas, Sindhuli on Sunday, the Maoist Center Chairman said that the warning against regression is still going on.

“We formed an alliance against regressive elements and dethroned them from power,” Prachanda said, adding, “However, the regression is likely to attempt to regain its power, all people should make it lick the dust in the forthcoming elections.”

He said that the five-party alliance against regression would be maintained till the upcoming parliamentary elections.
