KATHMANDU: Supreme Court has refused to adjourn the full hearing on the writ relating to 14 defecting lawmakers including Madhav Kumar Nepal.

CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli had filed a writ petition seeking the termination of 14 former UML lawmakers, including Nepal.

Advocate Amar Raut, representing 14 lawmakers, had filed a petition Sunday seeking adjournment of the hearing in the bench of Justices Anil Kumar Sinha and Nahakul Subedi.

The full hearing of the writ petition filed by UML chairperson Oli in the Supreme Court is set to from today. The hearing is in the fourth number on the list scheduled for today.

UML Chairman Oli had filed a case in the Supreme Court alleging that Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota did not take any decision despite the UML sending letters of action against 14 lawmakers.
