Man murdered in Thakthok, Budhanilkantha; two arrested



KATHMANDU: A man has been murdered in Thakthok, Budhanilkantha-5 of Kathmandu.

The deceased has been identified as Man Bahadur Raut, 32, who had been residing at Budhanilkantha-4, according to police.

Police have arrested two persons on suspicion of Raut’s murder. Yakubh Chaudhary, 24, of Bishnumati Dulal village and Karan Paswan, 18, of Libukot have been arrested on the charge of involvement in the murder.

Raut’s body was found in a suspicious condition in Thakthok two days ago. However, police were not been able to identify the body initially. A team of police dogs were mobilized to investigate the incident and in course of probe Chaudhary and Paswan’s involvement was found.

Police are further investigating the case.
