DHANUSHA: The Janamat Party led by CK Raut has obstructed the East-West Highway in Madesh Pradesh.

Labeling it as a “peasants’ movement”, the party has been protesting by burning tires on the highway as part of their “East_West Highway-centered agitation”.

The protests have affected highway areas of the district including Siraha, Saptari, Dhanusa, Mahottari and other places.

Janamat Party cadres are sitting at various places on the highway carrying bamboo sticks obstructing the vehicular movement.
