NEPSE increases by 32.03 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 32.03 points on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2616.94.

A total of 8.20 million shares of 230 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 4.53 billion.

The trade group index rose 7 percent and the microfinance and finance index rose 2.88 percent and 2.05 percent, respectively.

The manufacturing and production group declined 0.03 percent in today’s trade. Of the companies traded on the NEPSE, the share prices of 149 companies increased while the share price of 41 decreased today.

The share price of  Ruru Hydropower, Nepal Bangladesh Bank, and Kalika Power declined sharply today.
