Unified Socialist leader Yadu Bansha Jha defects to UML



KATHMANDU: Former Minister and CPN (Unified Socialist) politburo member Yadu Bansha Jha has defected to the CPN-UML.

Jha had joined Unified Socialist led by Madhav Nepal when the UML split. UML Chairman welcomed Jha to the party with a khada amidst a program.

Standing committee member Prabhu Sah and central committee member Sanjiv Kumar Jha had played a role to bring Jha back to the UML. Yadu Bansha is onsidered influential leader in Province 2.

Jha had been a central committee member in the then Nepal Communist Party.
