Govt to provide relief to families of those killed during election



KATHMANDU: Home Minister Balkrishna Khand has said the families of security persons and citizens killed during the conduct of the November 20 election would be provided relief.

The election was held successfully with the contribution and cooperation of all sides, which he argued, has helped implement the constitution.

The Minister said the periodic election is the beautiful aspect of democracy, which the government has been successful to hold. Khand thanked everyone- the security persons and the citizens- for carrying out their responsibility to make the election a success.

He paid tribute to those losing lives in the course of duty.

For the upkeep of their families, the government provides relief, he assured.
