Prachanda appeals not to vote for regressive forces



KATHMANDU: Chairman of Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has appealed to the people not to vote for the regressive forces in the November 20 elections to the House of Representatives (HoS) and Provincial Assembly.

Issuing a statement on the occasion of the Dashain, Tihar and Chhat festivals, Prachanda urged people to vote for anti-regressive forces to protect and strengthen the constitution, republic and federalism.

“On the occasion of Dashain, Tihar, Chhath, Nepal Sambat, Lhosar and other festivals, I wish all Nepali sisters and brothers living in the country and abroad happiness, peace, prosperity, good health and longevity,” he said.

Stating that the country is on the eve of elections, Prachanda said, “I appeal to the general public to vote for the anti-regressive forces in this election to further strengthen constitution, republic and federalism.”
