Maoist Center and Unified Socialist will unite soon: Prachanda



SURKHET: Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, who reached Surkhet on Friday morning, said that preparations were being made to forge unity between the Maoist Center and Unified Socialist Party.

He, however, said that the parties will contest the November 20 elections with their respective election symbols.

“We are preparing to go to the elections with our respective election symbols,” he said.

Prachanda also claimed that the seat-sharing among the five-ruling parties will be done in such a way that no party will be disappointed.

Prachanda, who reached Surkhet on Friday morning to address a program, said that the parties are close to an agreement on the allocation of seats for the November 20 elections to the House of Representatives and State Assembly.

“We are also discussing to finalize the seats in the province as well,” he said.
