NEPSE spirals down for four consecutive days



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has continued downward trend for four consecutive days in a row this week.

Since the start of this trading week, NEPSE index is plummeting day by day.

The index fell by 18.26 points on Thursday. It had dropped by 7.19 points on Wednesday.

The stock market that opened at 2,130 points this morning closed at 2,112 points.

In a declining market, the Sensitive Index fell by 3.81 points to reach 410 points.

Nevertheless, transaction amount increased in the downward market.

A total of 3,566,819 units of shares of 227 companies changed hands via 21,833, resulting in a turnover of Rs 1.16 billion today.

All sub-indices closed red except Mutual Fund at the end of trading hours Thursday.
