Election Commission seeks clarification from Ktm mayoral candidate Sthapit



KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) has sought clarification from Keshav Sthapit, the mayoral candidate of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, for his behavior in a public platform.

The commission has sought clarification on the statement made by CPN-UML candidate Sthapit targeting a questioner when asked about Sthapit’s sexual harassment.

Irate UML’s mayoral candidate had harassed Bhavana Raut, a participant of an interaction program and said that though she looked like a nice lady her mouth was disgusting.

According to EC sources, Sthapit is asked to submit his clarification on the issue relating to sexual harassment within three days.
