Electoral alliance is country’s need, says NC senior leader Poudel



TANAHUN: Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel said that it was the need of nation to go for electoral alliance.

Poudel said electoral alliance with other ruling coalition partners was needed in places where NC had weak presence.

He claimed that the electoral alliance within the five coalition partners would bring forth good results.

“The electoral alliance was forged among the coalition partners to retain the incumbent government till the parliamentary elections,” he explained, adding the NC opted for electoral alliance to protect democracy, stability and achievements of political movements.

He lauded the role of labourers to achieve democratic republic system in the country.
