PM Deuba holding talks with his Indian counterpart Modi at Hyderabad House

To inaugurate railway service



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is currently on a three-day visit to India, is holding a meeting with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House.

According to the Nepali Embassy in India, after the bilateral meeting between the two prime ministers, Prime Minister Deuba and Indian Prime Minister Modi will jointly inaugurate Janakpur-Jayanagar railway service and over 130 health posts constructed in Nepal after the mega earthquake at the financial assistance of the southern neighbor.

Once all the programs are over, both the prime ministers will jointly organize a press conference, it is learnt.

Prime Minister Deuba, who reached India on Friday at the invitation of Indian PM Modi, met with Indian External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar at the ITC Maurya Hotel, where he is staying, in New Delhi.

Prior to that, Deuba had visited the headquarters of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and met ruling party’s President JP Nadda.
