KATHMANDU: United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken has made a telephone call to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Tuesday evening.
During the telephone call, Secretary of State Blinken and Prime Minister Deuba dwelled on the Russian’s unprovoked attack on Ukraine and the support for its sovereignty and territorial integrity, Blinken said in a twitter message.

Diplomat Blinken and Prime Minister Deuba during the telephone conversation vowed that they would work closely on economic development and regional challenges in the days ahead.
Blinken has been serving as the United States secretary of state since January 26, 2021. He previously served as deputy national security advisor from 2013 to 2015 and deputy secretary of state from 2015 to 2017 under President Barack Obama.
