Nepali student dies in motorcycle accident in Sydney



SYDNEY: A Nepali youth has died in a motorcycle accident in Leppington, Sydney. The deceased has been identified as Ashim Thapaliya, 24.

According to Umesh Manandhar, a relative of Ashim, the accident took place at a road divider 150 meters away from the house at around 10.30 pm on Janauary 26.

Preparations are being made to send Ashim’s body to Nepal. Ashim, who came to study IT in 2016, has a permanent home in Chabahil, Kathmandu. Ashim was currently on a TR visa. Manandhar informed that the body would be sent to Nepal as the funeral would be held by his parents in Nepal.
