KATHMANDU: The country is likely to witness brief rainfall until Saturday due to the change of weather.

According to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, there is a possibility of heavy rain in some places.

The Department has said that there has been some change in weather as the western low-pressure system has entered from western Nepal since Wednesday night.

According to meteorologists, the country will remain cloudy on Friday and Saturday.

The western low-pressure system will cause light snowfall in many parts of the high hills and mountains of the far west, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki on Thursday.
