Police open fire on CK Raut’s party cadres, five injured

JANAKPURDHAM: Police have opened fire on Janamat Party cadres protesting at Portaha in Dhanusha along the East-West Highway on Sunday.

Five cadres of the party have been injured in a police firing.

Nathuni Yadav, Vijay Yadav, Ram Dayal Mukhiya, Baijnath Yadav and Sanjay Sah have been injured in the firing.

While Baijnath and Nathuni were shot in the head, others were shot in the legs.

All five injured were rushed to a hospital in Birendra Bazaar for treatment.

The condition of the two people shot in the head is critical.
