Govt in favor of press freedom: Minister Karki



KATHMANDU: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has said the government is in favor of freedom of expression and press freedom.

Minister Karki, who is also the government’s spokesperson, termed the role of online news portals crucial in shaping public voices.

Karki said that the role of the Association would be instrumental for the professional development of journalism.

He also pledged to provide public welfare advertisements to the online media portal like other media.
