A 16-year-old girl raped in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu police has nabbed a man on allegation of raping 16-year-old girl in Kathmandu.

According to Kathmandu police, 28-year old Chnadan Maharjan of Chandragiri-8 Matatirtha has been arrested on Monday evening on allegation of raping a teenage girl.

Maharjan allegedly raped the girl frequently taking her to a guest house at Kathmandu-14, Kalanki.

Similarly, Bhaktapur police arrested 22-year-old Rupak Khadka, a resident of Suryabinayak-3, Balkot on allegation of raping a 14-year-old girl.

Accused Khadka had also raped the minor time and again tempting her in many ways. He was arrested on Monday evening.
