Gen Secy Sharma recommended NC candidate from Jhapa 1



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma has been unanimously recommended as the party’s candidate for the House of Representatives elections from Jhapa Constituency 1.

The regional working committee meeting held on Thursday recommended General Secretary Sharma as a candidate for the House of Representatives elections from Jhapa 1.

Sharma contested from Jhapa 1 in 2070 BS and 2074 BS but was defeated in both elections.

Earlier, Sharma said that he will not contest from other constituencies except for Jhapa 1.
