Impeachment Recommendation Committee begins recording Rana’s statements for second day



KATHMANDU: The parliament’s Impeachment Recommendation Committee has begun recording statement of suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana for the second day.

Rana also gave his statement before the committee on Wednesday.

Rana had answered four questions in four hours before wrapping up the statement session at the parliamentary committee yesterday.

A member of the committee had informed that Rana was asked 43 questions related to the impeachment yesterday.

During the statement, he also challenged the committee to show his weakness if impeachment was issued due to the decree issued to form the government under the leadership of Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
