Sindhuli sees election-focused campaigns



SINDHULI: Election-related activities are surging in Sindhuli. All 79 wards of the district now are focused on organizing election-focused discussion and programs in view of the November 20 elections to the members of House of Representatives (HoR) and Province Assembly.

Leaders and cadres of the parties have gradually intensified their meetings with voters. The party leaders are seen engaged in meetings and discussions in tea shops and public spots.

Political parties have stepped up their political campaigns and activities. Daily district-level and ward-level gatherings are taking place.

Nepali Congress (NC) is organizing a two-day training programme at Fikkal rural municipality on Friday. NC district president Upendra Kumar Pokharel informed that the program was organized targeting upcoming elections.

CPN-UML Sindhuli organized a district-level assembly at Sahan Stadium in Marin rural municipality-4 on Wednesday. UML general-secretary Shanker Pokharel had addressed the gathering.

UML Sindhuli chair Rajkumar karki shared that the party was organizing different gatherings and discussions across the district focusing on upcoming elections.

Likewise, CPN (Maoist Center) and CPN (Unified Socialist) have also stepped up various poll-targeted programs.

Rastriya Swatantra Party coordinator Rabi Lamichhane is scheduled to attend a program at Kamalamai municipality-6, Dhurabazaar, today.

Meanwhile, Rastriya Bhumi Ayog Sindhuli chairperson RamKumar Poudel has entered the CPN-UML.

He was appointed as the Ayog Chairperson on behalf of the CPN (Maoist Centre).
