Maoist leaders, including Prachanda, heading to Surkhet today



KATHMANDU: CPN Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is leaving Kathmandu for Surkhet today.

Prachanda is to address the party’s provincial-level training program in Surkhet being organized by Maoist’s Karnali Province Committee .

According to the provincial committee, a team of six leaders, including Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Siddharaj Neupane, Ganga Dahal and Manoj Thapa, will be accompanying Prachanda to Surkhet.

Similarly, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma ‘Prabhakar’ is also scheduled to reach Surkhet today.

He is scheduled to inaugurate the provincial office of the Beema Samiti in Surkhet and later join the party’s program.

Local leaders and cadres from all 10 districts of Karnali Province will attend the party program.
