Couple found brutally murdered in Talawang, Rolpa



KATHMANDU: A couple has been found brutally murdered with a sharp weapon in Talawang of Madi Rural Municipality-3, Rolpa.

According to police, Durga Bahadur Pun, 27, and his wife, Parbati, 37, who had been residing in Paribartan Rural Municipality-2 of the district were found dead.

According to Rolpa police chief DSP Binod Ghimire, the two had got married while working in a brick kiln in Kathmandu and later moved to Talawan. In Talawang, Rolpa, they were working at the house of Jayalal Dangi.

Police said that a trained dog was being brought from Kohalpur to investigate the murder.

After receiving report of the incident, a team from Ghartigaon Area Police office and another team led by Rolpa police chief DSP Ghimire had reached the incident site.

Police suspect the incident could have taken place on Tuesday night and investigation was underway.
