Four members of a family killed brutally in Kavresthali

KATHMANDU: Four members of the same family have been brutally murdered in Tarakeshwar-2, Kavresthali.

According to Kathmandu police, the deceased included 41-year-old Dinesh Pandey, his wife 39-year-old Sunita Pandey, daughter 13-year-old Sunita Pandey and son 8-year-old Ashik Pandey.

“The same family were killed in a gruesome manner, we are investigating for details,” SP Dinesh Raj Mainali, the Kathmandu District Police Spokesperson said.

The deceased hail from Gorkha Bhimsen Rural Municipality and have been living in Kathmandu.

According to the police, the door of the house was locked from inside and four people were found dead when they broke the door.
