Minister Kunwar pledges to make foreign employment dignified



KATHMANDU: Minister for Labor, Employment, and Social Security Sher Bahadur Kunwar said he would work to make the foreign employment sector further well-managed and dignified.

He said this in his address to the first anniversary of Nigarani Daily Media Pvt Ltd and interaction on ‘Measures to resolve problems surfaced in foreign employment sector’ on Sunday.

The Minister further pledged that the government would work together with the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) to drive foreign employment sector in a well-managed and dignified manner.

He said a bilateral agreement recently made between the Social Security Fund and NRNA was very crucial and result-oriented.

On the occasion, NRNA Chairperson Kul Acharya said the parliament-endorsed citizenship bill was in favour of the nation and it has added enthusiasm to the Association.
