One Chinese and three others arrested with illegal Rs 4.5 million



POKHARA: The police have arrested four persons, including one Chinese national, with Rs 4.5 million from Damside Pokhara on Thursday afternoon.

According to Pokhara Police, Suman Tamang, 23, of Kakani-7, Nuwakot, Yin Yingbo, a Chinese national with passport number EG 4487087 and two others have been arrested from a hotel in Damside, Pokhara.

A team of police deployed from Ward Police Office, Baidam searched the hotel on the basis of information that arrested Suman’s Diamond Technology Company was involved in suspicious transactions and arrested four with the money sans legal source of income.

Police have also recovered four mobile phones, 97 laptops from different companies, nine desktops, and 228 other mobile phones from different companies from the spot.

The police are conducting further investigation in this regard.
