KAHS and Memorial University in Canada ink agreement for collaboration



KARNALI: The Karnali Academy of Health Sciences (KAHS) in Jumla district and Memorial University Newfoundland in Canada have entered into an agreement for bilateral cooperation in the area of health services, education and research.

Academy’s Vice-Chancellor Dr Mangal Rawal and Memorial University’s Vice-President Margaret Steele on last Tuesday signed the MoU to work together in various areas of cooperation for five years.

After the agreement, the faculty members will coordinate efforts in exchange of various publications, research materials, students, information and research materials among others, according to Karnali Academy.

Administrative support and capacity building related projects will be implemented in the both institutions as per the agreement that is valid up to five years and extension on the MoU could be considered in consent of the both parties.
