Free education to orphan children in Tokha



KATHMANDU: Tokha Municipality of Kathmandu is set to provide free education to orphan children. A meeting of the municipal executive on Tuesday decided to offer free education to the orphan children residing within the municipality.

With the decision, the orphan children would receive free education up to the secondary level.

The meeting also decided to make Tokha a plastic-free municipality within the coming five years, shared mayor Prakash Adhikari.

As informed, the municipal executive has constituted different thematic committees, including the economic committee, social committee, disaster and environment committee, infrastructure development committee, and institutional development committee.
