Raju Aryal appointed APF Inspector General

KATHMANDU: Raju Aryal has been appointed as the Inspector General (IG) of Armed Police Force (APF).

A cabinet meeting held Sunday appointed Aryal to the top post of APF as he was the sole claimant for the post.

APF IG Pushpa Ram KC retired from Sunday after his 30 years of service came to an end. He was appointed as the 11th APF IG on April 13. He held the IG’s post for just 19 days.

The Armed Police Force has two Additional IGs, of whom the government promoted Aryal. Last week, he was promoted to Additional IG from Deputy Inspector IG.
