Unified Socialist Chair Nepal bats for respect, dignity of labor

KATHMANDU: Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has argued that country’s development and transformation was not possible until the rights and welfare of the working class people was guaranteed.

In his message of best wishes on the occasion of the International Laobur Day today, the former Prime Minister has laid emphasis on respect and dignity of labour from all sides for the making of a socialism-oriented economy.

Chairman Nepal has also claimed that his party was the true successor of Nepal Communist Party (CPN) that was established with the commitment to give a leadership to the working class people’s struggle.

He has expressed his commitment to establish norms and values of democracy and safeguard interests of working class people by struggling against the exploitation, suppression and totalitarianism of the Nepali society.

Nepal has drawn the attention of the government to ensure proper wages, social security, participation of working class people in the policy making and end to all sorts of discrimination to ensure direct relief in the lives of labourers.
